You know the
intent of The Edge is to keep all the audio downloads free of
charge. However, the shear amount of downloads has strained the
means to continue to provide it free. We would rather
politely
ask listeners to
contribute occasionally if they have enjoyed the format of The Edge, than force listeners
to pay a monthly subscription. Since the beginning Daniel himself
has paid the difference between what the advertisers pay and the
actual costs of producing and maintaining the show. Any money
received will go directly to paying for additional bandwidth and
programming costs to keep it completely free of charge, unlike so
many other shows that require a monthly subscription fee.
